If you go in this region you will never wanna leave, I promise, this area of Italy is one of the most livable and nicest on the planet.
You will need a car or you can travel by train and visit both cities, I prefer Urbino over Pesaro but Pesaro is on the beach and the city center is pretty nice as well.
The tour can easily start from the sculpture of Pomodoro that is located almost on the beach at the end of the main road that crosses the city center.
The sculpture represents the world opened up in the middle and with gears that are powering up the world that is now industrialized.
In the city center a few blocks from the statue of Pomodoro you will be able to find the house of Gioacchino Rossini which is one of the greatest composers in the world, this is the guy who composed The Barber of Seville.
Inside the house, there are often exhibitions, and people playing the violin and a nice and fresh museum with all the history of Rossini.
The Monte San Bartolo Park is one of the most beautiful natural reserves in the region. The road that goes from Gabicce to Fiorenzuola di Focara and Gradara is breathtaking.
You will need a car to go on that panoramic road overlooking the sea, in Fiorenzuola Di Focara you will find mentions from Dante Alighieri saying things that this area is paradise.
In the same area, you can find a famous place and beach called Baia Vallugola that is definitely worth your time to visit.
Piazza del Popolo is the main square of Pesaro and not too far you will also find the beautiful Palazzo Ducale Malatesta.
Pesaro is a city located on the beach and in the summer it gets quite dense and awesome and one of the top choices if you are looking for relaxation or fun.
The city of Urbino is located more inland toward the west in between the hills and landscapes that inspired Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello Sanzio for their paintings.
Urbino is the hometown of Raffaello Sanzio which is one of the biggest artists ever existed, you will find a lot of his stuff in Urbino.
The city is located on the hills of Montefeltro and in the Palazzo Ducale Of Urbano which is now a museum you will be able to find the famous painting la “Città Ideale” which is one of the most famous paintings in the world.
It is mandatory for you to pay for the ticket and go visit the Palazzo Ducale of Urbino, inside you will find a lot of famous arts and a famous painting from Raphael as well.
The view from this awesome building is absolutely stunning and you will definitely love it so much that you will never wanna leave.
Not too far from Urbino, you can find a beautiful castle in the city of Gradara and if you have time ist is definitely worth it a visit to this beautiful place as well.
