Turin (Torino) is the biggest province and capital of the region Piedmont, the city is absolutely gorgeous and worth your time.
I personally enjoy more a walk-in Turin than in Milan, I like it a lot because of the Po river, the beautiful hills, and mountains that surround the city and the fantastic architectures.
The region Piedmont means at the foot of the mountains, in fact from almost all the cities in this region you will be able to see the beautiful mountains in the background.
Turin is very famous for the big football team called Juventus, for the mole Antonelliana and a beautiful city center crossed by the biggest river in Italy called Po.
The church of Superga on the hills is another great thing to go visit, and the food, if you are a foodie, is great as well in this big and livable city.
Turin What To Do
Turin is capital for culture and awesome museums, in fact here you will be able to find the sacred shroud and a beautiful Egyptian museum.
We can start our tour of the city center and admire the beauty of La Mole Antonelliana that was designed in 1863 by Alessandro Antonelli to serve as a Jewish temple.
The structure of the dome is famous worldwide and everyone envies it. The tower is 547 feet tall (167 meters) and there is an elevator that will bring you on top and give the chance to see a beautiful panoramic view over Turin.
Inside the building, there is a beautiful and suggestive museum of the cinema that you can visit with the ticket for the tower.
The Piazza Castello is surrounded on three sides by elegant arcades built in different periods, the austere Royal Palace was the residence of the King of Sardinia until 1659, and then of Vittorio Emanuele II King of Italy, until 1865.
Palazzo Madama today is hosting the Civic Museum of Ancient Art but this marvelous building built on the ruins of an ancient Roman gate was a fortress. Inside of this building, there are a huge number of incredible arts worth to see.
I don’t know if it is because of the name or because of its beauty but Il Parco del Valentino is one of the nicest parks in the world. The beautiful castle and the nice plants and cured details make it one of the top parks to visit that’s for sure.

Food In Turin
You probably ate it at least once in your life, the Vitello Tonnato is popular worldwide and it comes from Turin Italy.
This is a delicious combination of Tuna sauce and veal meat, a lot of people could it every day because of its yumminess.
This dish is exported all over the world but the origins are from the city of Turin, and of course, you will be able to eat it in many restaurants and food stores.
The Bagnèt Verd is a green sauce composed of anchovies and garlic used to eat boiled meat that was used to make the broth. They are adding parsley, breadcrumbs previously soaked in vinegar and squeezed and extra virgin olive oil.
