A fun fact about Vicenza is that in the middle ages, people there were very poor, meanwhile, now they are pretty rich. People from Vicenza was called “Magna Gatti” literally “cat eater”.
They didn’t eat any cat but the real poor ones probably they did.
One of the tastiest typical dishes is the gnocchi with asparagus if you are in Vicenza get your mouth to bit this dish. YUM.
