The first time I went there I could not imagine going back home, it is too nice the lifestyle and all the views and landscapes are breathtaking.
A lot of people go there only to see the Greek Valley of the Temples, which is a place that will be impressed in your mind forever.
It is hard to leave Agrigento without the thoughts of going back, the amazing beaches, the clean water, and many awesome architectures from the ancient times are in any corner.
Agrigento is by definition one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world and the heritage of the Unesco.

You can not go to Agrigento without visiting the stunning greek Valle Dei Templi, this is one of the views that will be impressed in your mind forever.

The visit can start from the Rupe Atenea, which houses the remains of the temple of Demeter, built around 470 BC and incorporated into the medieval church of San Biagio.

Seafood in Agrigento is delicious, we are in a beach town and people in Sicily is very obsessed with fresh and awesome fish.
There are other dishes typical from here like Maccu di Fave which is a soup made off Fava beans.
Everywhere you go in Sicily and in particular in Agrigento you can find little shacks on the street selling le Panelle.
This is a very poor snack but le Panelle are tasty round pancakes made of chickpea flour. You can eat them in between a sandwich, or with meat or just as a snack like chips.
Arancini and Cannoli Siciliani will be of course all over Sicily and in Agrigento, you can find them for sure and they will be delicious.
Gratin mussels are very cheap and can be found in any restaurant for a very cheap price and for the best quality of your life.
Swordfish rolls, pasta with marinated anchovies and so much more will be quite popualr in Agrigento.
Sicilian Pesto is made with almonds and garlic, basil and oil, they are adding grated pecorino, and the tomatoes.
